These terms govern your use of Leasr, an AI-assisted car-buying and leasing concierge for the United States. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
1. What Leasr does
Leasr searches new and used vehicle inventory, computes total cost of ownership, and conducts negotiations with dealers on your behalf through email, voice calls, and (where you've enabled it) SMS. Leasr never signs documents or makes a binding purchase commitment in your name; that step is yours.
2. Authorization
By engaging a dealer through Leasr, you authorize Leasr's AI agent to communicate with that dealer on your behalf, identify itself as an AI, share the parameters you've set, and accept or reject offers within the guardrails you've configured. You can revoke this authorization at any time by killing the negotiation or removing consent in settings.
3. Guardrails are the contract
The guardrails you set on a search profile (hard cap on out-the-door price, brand exclusions, required trim, message rate limits, approval thresholds) are the only authority the AI has. The AI may not exceed them under any circumstance. If a guardrail would be violated, the action pauses for your approval.
4. Fees
Leasr is free to use during the private beta. We may introduce a success fee or subscription in the future; we'll notify you in writing 30 days before any pricing change.
5. Your responsibilities
You're responsible for the accuracy of the budget, ZIP, and vehicle preferences you provide; for reviewing offers before signing any paperwork; and for complying with any state-specific dealer or registration requirements when you take delivery.
6. Limitations
Leasr provides estimates of taxes, registration, and shipping based on lookup tables and heuristics. Final amounts come from the dealer's buyer's order and your state DMV. Leasr is not a licensed dealer, broker, lender, or attorney.
7. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from settings. We may suspend access if we reasonably believe the service is being misused (e.g. to spam dealers, harass, or violate TCPA).
8. Disputes
Governing law and venue placeholder. Replace with attorney-reviewed clauses appropriate for the entity that owns Leasr.
